Smart Apartment – Thessaloniki

OctaSYS implemented a complete KNX automation system in a modern apartment in Thessaloniki, providing a unified and user‑friendly way to manage all core electromechanical installations.

The project includes smart control of lighting and shading, management of the VRV air‑conditioning system, and control of domestic hot water production via a heat pump, ensuring maximum comfort and optimal energy performance. At the same time, the KNX system integrates with the security system, enabling automated access functions and triggering scenarios based on the occupants’ presence or absence.

Through smart automations — such as presence simulation, the “Arrival”, “Departure” and “Night” scenarios, and scheduled energy‑saving functions — the apartment offers enhanced security, comfort, and everyday convenience. All functions are available both locally and remotely via smartphone or tablet, ensuring complete control of the space from anywhere.
